Confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints by Henry Rampton

I was born in Bountiful, July 9, 1875, in a log house built where my mother's present home stands. When ten years of age I went to live with my grandmother Crosby and attended school (built by Perrigren Sessions) for three years. I graduated from the eighth grade under D. O. Willey, Jr.

I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when eight years of age. I have always lived in Bountiful and have taken two trips to Pocatello, Idaho

The things that are most interesting to me are home work and taking care of the sick. It has been my aim all my life to study nursing and I attended Mrs. Margaret C. Robert's nursing class during the years 1913 and 1914, graduating May 27th, 1914. So nursing has been one of my occupations during the last few years, although I still do nearly all of my house work as well.

My father, Edward Thomas, is a handcart veteran, having hauled his cart all the way to Utah. His sketch is in a book, "Bountiful Pioneers," written by Wallace Willey.

Information taken from "Genealogical Form For Church of Family Organizations." Probably written about 1917.
