Directions to the landfill:  Go west on 500 South, over Legacy Highway and turn right (north) on the frontage road.  That road will take you to the landfill.

Compost will be available beginning September 1, 2012.

If you plan to purchase compost ($30/ton),
you must be at the landfill 1/2 hour before closing time!

 Bountiful City Landfill is one of our greatest assets. The location is close and the fee is the lowest in the state.

No Hazardous Waste Accepted. 

Residential Rate for Residents of Bountiful City
A $3 minimum fee for Bountiful residents hauling garbage or trash generated in their home or yard.

Non-Resident Rate (available to residents of North Salt Lake, Woods Cross, West Bountiful and Centerville ONLY and only for GREEN WASTE)
$3 per pick up load

Load Rate
$3 for trucks, cars and trailers.

Large Load Rate
$6 per load (approx. 2 pickup loads) $12 per load (approx. 3 pickup loads)

Commercial Rate
$25 per ton for anyone hauling construction, remodeling or demolition materials, concrete or site preparation.

Refrigerators and Freezers
There is a $10 charge to leave refrigerators and freezers at the landfill.

Unacceptable Items
Liquids, propane tanks, barrels/drums, tires (unless shredded), industrial waste, infectious waste and asbestos, animal carcasses (accepted with prior approval).
