Victim of Crimes Assistance Program (VOCAP)
VOCAP is a division of the Davis County Attorney Office.  This program provides services for victims of domestic violence, rape, or other violent crimes.  The following information comes directly from the pamphlet distributed by VOCAP.  For additional information, contact your local police agency, or contact VOCAP at the numbers listed on this page.

Services Available

• Crisis Intervention
• Referrals for domestic violence counseling
• Rape Crisis intervention / counseling
• Direct services to victims of sexual assault and their significant others
• Referrals to existing community resources
• Information about the criminal justice process
• Assistance in filing protective orders
• Pro Bono representation available for protective orders only
• Information about Crime Victim Reparations and assistance in filling out forms
• Accompaniment and support at court hearings
• Private areas for victims waiting to testify
• Employer intervention

Victims of Domestic Violence do Have Rights
State Law provides certain rights for victims

• Right to seek safe shelter
• Right to be informed of criminal justice system and court procedures
• Right to obtain a copy of the police report at no cost
• Right to seek counseling
