The mission of the Bountiful Police Department is to provide the highest quality police services to the Community of Bountiful; to ensure public safety, order, and equal protection under the law; and to treat each person with dignity and respect by pledging ourselves to professionalism and integrity.

Integrity is the most important value that law enforcement personnel can possess and demonstrate in their actions.

Serving Our Community

The primary objective of this department is to preserve the peace in a manner consistent with the freedoms secured by the Constitution. In doing so, the role of the department is to enforce the law in a fair and impartial manner, recognizing both the statutory and judicial limitations of police authority and the constitutional rights of all persons.
