Plat A
The Historic Downtown area of Bountiful is also known as 'Plat A' This area is bounded by 400 North, 500 South, 400 East and 200 West.
This Plat A neighborhood has seen tremendous changes over the past several years as redevelopment has occurred along Main Street and the surrounding neighborhood.
The City of Bountiful and its residents are concerned with preserving the character of the historic downtown. Careful consideration must be given to future uses to ensure that future development fits the vision that the City and its residents hold for Historic Downtown Bountiful.

In response to concerns voiced by residents, and to allow deliberate and thoughtful study of this unique section of Bountiful, on March 28, 2017, the Bountiful City Council approved adoption of a six-month moratorium in the Plat A area to provide adequate review of standards impacting development.
Since that time, the City has worked to engage residents, specifically those of Plat A, to participate in discussion, a survey and a public open house.
An open house was held August 16, 2017. Whether you were in attendance or not, your input is invited and appreciated. You will have additional opportunities to be involved in the process.
